Reason you were engaged:

Heelguard’s diverse range of compliant products, flexibility in design and valuable industry experience helped to secure this supply contract.

Description of work performed:

Heelguard supplied drainage systems to almost every part of this stage 3 development. A major focus being on full perimeter drainage using Click Drain 200 Series for the new Kia Arena, zero threshold trench grates to all concession doors and public entries, trench grates to the open air terrace at Centrepiece and to pedestrian access ramps. Ideal Drain and Flexi Drain were also installed.

Considerations:

This iconic Melbourne venue, home to the Australian Open required an emphasis on compliance to Australian Standards for both access & mobility and slip resistance whist not compromising on design aesthetics.

Completion:

The project reached practical completion in August 2021, in time for the Australian Open.

Client / Stakeholder Feedback:

All stakeholders were appreciative of our time and assistance with design and our ability to customise our systems to suit the application.
